POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Develop plans for Digital and Social Channels for Channel T clients that meet brand objectives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Development of annual digital and social plans for key accounts utilising a planning process.
  • Development of campaign plans for brands within Digital and Social Channels.
  • Understanding of overarching brand objectives and strategies and application of these within digital and social channels.
  • Generate planning based revenues for Channel T.
  • Analysis and reporting. Connecting the dots to translate numbers into insights and actions
  • Able to work well inter-agency
  • Ability to organise, facilitate and run effective planning workshops with clients
  • Development of media plans within social channels.
  • Keep Channel T at the forefront of digital and social with trends/provocation presentations, education of staff and clients.

 

COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURS:

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of branding and communication principles
  • Strong understanding of digital and social channels and the ability to articulate their role in achieving communication objectives.
  • Analytically strong, able to translate numbers into insights and actions.
  • Working knowledge of reporting platforms and also Facebook for Business and Media Manager
  • Creativity. Can think creatively on how digital and social can activate a brand plan.
  • Good understanding of the media environment and key planning principles (communication funnel, reach, frequency, etc).
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics and AdWords.
  • Drive for results.

  • Positive, energetic and enthusiastic

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Min 3+ years planning experience in planning in digital/social within an agency environment
  • May also come from an above the line agency with a strong depth of knowledge in digital and social
  • Proven track record of delivering planning solutions for clients
  • Demonstrates competencies and behaviours (as above).
